APPLICATIONS
05-02
Gordon - 5547 RFD - Estates of Oak Hills - Mr. Gordon presented
photographs of berms at Rt
22 and Old McHenry Road, stating this is how he wants his berm
to look. The Committee has repeatedly asked that contour drawings be
submitted. We cannot consider approval
until we know the dimensions of the project including heights, slope and
contours.
06-01 Stach - 6750 RFD - Indian Creek Estates - Request to reduce
the required setback from the Conservancy area.
Since the house is still in the planning stage, Mr. Stach
agreed to move the house 20’ in order to comply with the ordinance. No more action will be required from the CSC
Committee.
06-02 -
Roman- 5226 RFD - Briarcrest Subdivision- In order to accommodate the addition of a
gymnasium to their house, this application is a request to reduce the 20’
setback from the conservancy area. Lee
Bassett moved to approve the application with the following conditions:
1. The 3 missing Conservancy sign will be replaced to
clearly mark the conservancy areas.
2. A chain link fence will be erected before construction
begins to protect the Conservancy area from all construction
traffic. There will be no construction
traffic or materials in the Conservancy areas.
4. The gymnasium
foundation wall will be 5’ from the conservancy area.
Kelley Smith seconded the
motion. All voted to recommend approval
to the Village Board. Motion carried.
Menard’s Project at Old
Rt. 53 & Lake Cook Road . Since none of the landscaped
area is conservancy or scenic corridor this is not an application, but the CSC
Committee was asked
to review the landscape plans for this project. There are few native trees, plants or
grasses included in their plans. Since this is not a conservancy or scenic
corridor native landscaping is not a requirement.
ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
Bob Borg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Warren Schmitt. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 9:10 pm.

SUBMITTED
