MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Members present: Kelley Smith chairman, Lee Bassett, Bob Borg, Warren Schmitt, 

                              Kathy Wiberg     

Also present: Jim Hogue, Village Planner ; Tony Gordon; Bob O’Reilly

MEETING MINUTES

 

            Minutes from meeting on January 4, 2006 were reviewed.  Lee Bassett moved to approve;  Bob Borg  seconded.  All present voted to approve minutes. Motion carried.

 

APPLICATIONS

 

            05-02   Gordon - 5547 RFD - Estates of Oak Hills - Mr. Gordon presented contour drawings that included height, slope and contours for raising the height of his existing berm at Rt. 22 and Oak Grove Drive as required by the Committee. We reviewed the plans. A list native grasses, native flowers and trees to be added to the berm will be submitted for Committee review before planting. Lee Bassett moved to recommend approval by the Village Board and Bob Borg seconded. All voted to approve.  Motion carried.

 

            06-01   Stach - 6750 RFD - Indian Creek Estates - Request to reduce the required setback from the Conservancy area.  No report. 

 

OTHER BUSINESS

             

            Bill O’Reilly, 6785 RFD, attended to inquire about the spec home being built by Christopher Stach ,6750 RFD.  Bill shared background information on the 8 acre lot.  Most of the lot is low and seasonally wet.  Therefore, water for the subdivision drains through this lot.  It is a seasonal home to sandhill cranes.  It is also home to other animals including coyotes.

            Bob Borg moved to adjourn.  Seconded by Warren Schmitt.  All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 8:40 pm.
