MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

APRIL 19, 2006

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order at 7:38 p.m.

Members present: Kelley Smith chairman, Lee Bassett, Bob Borg, Warren Schmitt,

Kathy Wiberg

Also present: Jim Hogue, Village Planner and David Atkison

MEETING MINUTES

Minutes from meeting on March 15, 2006 were reviewed. Warren Schmitt moved to approve; Bob Borg seconded. All present voted to approve minutes. Motion carried.

APPLICATIONS

06-06 Atkinson -3716 RFD - Request for an encroachment not to exceed 40%. Two lots are being combined to construct new home. Much of the property is wetland and, therefore, not buildable property. Bob Borg move to recommend to the Village Board approval of this application subject to a 40% limit of conservancy encroachment. This encroachment is to be checked and approved by the Bob Block and Jim Hogue. Warren Schmitt seconded the motion. All approved. Motion passed.

OLD BUSINESS

05-15 Patel - 2600 RFD - Application was approved in September ‘05. Mr. Patel was to have his scenic corridor restoration plan on file with the Village by November ‘05. Work on the scenic corridor should begin this spring with planting in the fall. To date, Mr. Patel has not complied with this requirement. Mr. Patel cleared the scenic corridor of all plant material several years ago. He is also maintaining part of the scenic corridor as mowed lawn. Jim Hogue will contact Mr. Patel by letter and involve the attorney again if necessary.

Warren Schmitt moved to adjourn. Seconded by Lee Bassett. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 8:05 pm.
