MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

VILLAGE HALL

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m.

Members present: Kelley Smith chairman, Lee Bassett, Bob Borg, Warren Schmitt,

Kathy Wiberg

Also present: Jim Hogue, Village Planner and Rich Lafnitzegger, Jesse Swanson

MEETING MINUTES

Minutes from meeting on April 19, 2006 were reviewed. Warren Schmitt moved to approve; Bob Borg seconded. All present voted to approve minutes. Motion carried.

APPLICATIONS

06-07 Eleanora Estates PUD - Schmechtig Landscape Co. Request to renovate the landscape at the entrance of the subdivision. Kathy and Lee visited the property on May 3. Most of the existing trees and shrubs will be removed. The trees and shrubs in the new design are not native, but can be used in a scenic corridor. We do require that the flowers and grasses to be used in the design be native. Mr. Swanson from Schmechitg will submit a revised plant list using only native before our next meeting.

OLD BUSINESS

05-15 Patel - 2600 RFD - Mr. Patel has submitted the contract he has with McGinty to do the native restoration of his scenic corridor, as required in the approval of his application.

Warren Schmitt moved to adjourn. Seconded by Lee Bassett. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 8:10 pm.
