MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order at 7:33 p.m.

Members present: Kelley Smith chairman, Lee Bassett, Warren Schmitt, Kathy Wiberg

Members absent: Bob Borg

Also present: Jim Hogue, Village Planner, Sal Venegas and Ellen Deasy

MEETING MINUTES

Minutes from meeting on May 17, 2006 were reviewed. Lee Bassett moved to approve; Warren Schmitt seconded. All present voted to approve minutes. Motion carried.

APPLICATIONS

06-08 4916 RFD - Prairie Trails of Long Grove - Rock Construction- Sal Venegas is the owner of property. Request to regrade conservancy to provide better drainage to the area behind the property at 4916 RFD. This area is part of outlot A and not part of property at 4916. Kathy Wiberg visited the property on June 7, 2006.The exact area was difficult to find with the small piece of a subdivision plan that was submitted. A Plat of Survey, as required, would have been easier to work with to find this property. There was no address included on subdivision plans, no address on the application, and lots are no longer marked with lot numbers. The prairie plants in this area are beginning to establish very well. Mr. Venegas and Rock Construction should do everything possible to impact only the small area with the drainage problem. We require that Mr Venegas submit the list of native prairie plants to reestablish all areas disturbed by the tractors and equipment. It would be best if Mr. Vengas contacted the subdivision developers to get the sources of the seed mix used in this subdivision. Kathy Wiberg moved to recommend to the Village Board approval of this application with the requirement that the seed mix to be used is submitted to CSC Committee before planting. Lee Bassett seconded. All members present voted to approve. Motion carried.

OTHER BUSINESS

Ellen Deasy expressed an interest in serving on the CSC. Requirements of the Committee were discussed. Jim Hogue will submit her name to the Village Board.

Warren Schmitt moved to adjourn. Seconded by Lee Bassett. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 8:45 pm
