APPLICATIONS
Ponds of Skycrest - Steve Albert of Albert Development
Insight, Inc explained the revision of plat subdivision. Changes have been made to this plat to
accommodate the relocation of the septic system to more acceptable soils. The location of the driveway and the
conservancy areas are changing. This new
plat has used the encrochment of 40% into Conservancy
areas as permitted by the ordinance. No
more conservancy property can be used by the homeowners for their personal use
in the future. The conservancy posts need to be properly located, and the
native planting list will be forwarded to CSC Committee for approval before
planting. Kelley Smith moved to
recommend to the Village Board approval of this change in the application with
the above requirements. Warren Schmitt seconded. All members voted to approve.
06-09 Moats -
3145 RFD - Request
for a split rail fence in a conservancy area.
The ordinance prohibits manmade objects in a conservancy area. The conservancy on this property extends to
the property line. The Moats have agreed
to locate the fence just outside the conservancy area on the property line. Jim
Hogue will check to make sure the conservancy does not extend to the adjoining
property.
OTHER BUSINESS
Jay Harris, a Briarcrest homeowner, has reported that conservancy areas
are being mowed and conservancy posts and signs have been removed in his
subdivision.
ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
Bob Borg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Lee Bassett. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 9:10 pm
