MINUTES OF REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING

SEPTEMBER 20, 2006

CALL TO ORDER

Meeting called to order at 7:43 p.m.

Members present: Kelley Smith, chairman, Lee Bassett, Bob Borg,

Warren Schmitt, Kathy Wiberg

Not present: Ellen Deasy

Also present: Jim Hogue, Village Planner

MEETING MINUTES

Minutes from meeting on August 16, 2006 were reviewed. Lee Bassett moved to approve and Bob Borg seconded. All members voted to approve.

APPLICATIONS

06-10 - Dessner/Jacobson - Merit Estates- Request by two homeowners to add trees to an outlot near their properties. Permission was needed from the developer because control of the outlet has not yet been turned over to the HOA. Permission has been received and the application will go before the Village Board on September 26.

06-11- Weiss - Prairie Trails HOA Request to add trees and shrubs to common area conservancy. The plants to be used are from the Village approved list.

Bob and Kathy visited this site. A beautiful young prairie has been established by the developer. Taking heavy equipment into center of the prairie will destroy all the plants in its path. We require for approval that the trees and shrubs be carried in with a hand dolly.

Bob moved to recommend to the Village Board approval the application as submitted with the above requirement. Kathy seconded. All voted yes. Motion carried.

OTHER BUSINESS

Briarcrest Violations - Jim has checked the conservancy in the Briarcrest subdivision. Letters have been mailed to the violators.

Lee Bassett moved to adjourn. Seconded by Warren Schmitt. All voted aye. Meeting adjourned 8:30 pm.
