OTHER BUSINESS

Briarcrest Violations - Two homeowners that received a notice of conservancy violations are now in compliance.  Jim is working with a third homeowner to bring the property into compliance.

Patel  - Scenic Corridor Violation - Mr. Patel is still mowing about 20 feet of the 100 foot width of his scenic corridor. The posts and signs are still laying on the ground.  Mr. Patel received Village Board approval for the second time in 2005 to restore the scenic corridor to it native state.  Approval of his application was for restoration the entire 100 foot scenic corridor area.  The Committee has been working with Mr. Patel for 4 years to TRY to get him to STOP mowing this area.  Mr. Patel’s original application for this area was July 17, 2002.  Jim will follow up with a letter.

Conservancy article for the BRIDGE    The Committee reviewed the article Jim wrote for the next Bridge and the condensed version  that will be printed.  Minor changes in wording were made.  We agreed to submit an article about Conservancy and/or Scenic Corridors for the next few editions of the Bridge.
