meeting on March 15, 2007 were reviewed.
Lee Bassett moved to approve; Bob Borg seconded. All members voted to approve. Motion carried.
APPLICATIONS
07-01 Zhu and
Shao, 4803 R.F.D. Residents of the
Preserve subdivision requesting to add wild flowers, trees, and prairie grasses
to their conservancy. Lee and Warren
will meet with residents.
OTHER BUSINESS
Continuation of our discussion preliminary plating vs.,
final plating of property. Jim explained
to us that there is no reason for us to be in on that phase of planning. The committee had many questions. The committee feels that our input to the
early planning phase of plating subdivisions could avoid some of the problems
we have to confront after the fact.
Continuation of our discussion of preparing a
Conservancy/Scenic Corridor packet or brochure for the residents.
The committee would like to meet with the Plan Commission
and the Zoning Board of Appeals to review with them what our ordinance
requires. The topics we would like to
share with them would include the following:
1. Reasons for Conservancy- Kathy Wiberg
2. Types of Conservancy - Ellen Deasy
3. Compliance with the requirements of CSC
and development of PUD- Bob Borg
4. Responsibility of CSC - Lee Bassett
5. How we process an application - Warren
Schmitt
Each member of the Committee
will prepare a brief outline for the next meeting.
