Also present: Jim Hogue, Village Planner
MEETING MINUTES
The minutes from the July 18th
regular meeting had not yet been drafted and therefore were not available for
review by the Conservancy and Scenic Corridor Committee (CSCC).
APPLICATIONS
There were no new applications for discussion.
Village Planner Hogue updated the CSCC on the status of CSCC petition
#07-04. He noted that the Village had not yet received a revised site plan from
Mr. Wolinski as was discussed at the July 18th meeting. Chairman Smith reiterated the deliberations
of the CSCC with regard to this request for a reduction of the buffer yard at
the last meeting.
Chairman Smith then noted
that exceptions to the buffer yard requirement had been made in the past
provided that temporary fencing was installed and construction equipment kept
out of the conservancy and that restoration be completed for and disturbance of
the conservancy during construction. He asked; Should the CSCC reaffirm their
position on the need for buffer yard requirement ?
After discussion the
consensus of the CSCC was to leave the buffer requirements as they currently
exist and not to consider alterations to these standards.
OTHER BUSINESS;
None.
