          The Plan Commission Meeting Shall Be Held In The Village Hall

                        3110 RFD, Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, Illinois

 

I.                     PUBLIC HEARING (8:00 P.M.)

A.          Bulk Size Regulations

          Amendment of Title 5, Chapter 15, of the Long Grove Village Code is proposed.

          The current regulations focus on floor area as a control to limit bulk.  The proposed

          revisions use volumetric measurements as a means to limit bulk.  Based on tonight’s

          public comment and final direction from the Plan Commission, the Village Attorney  will then be asked to develop a draft ordinance for consideration and action by the  Plan Commission at its next meeting.

IV.        OLD BUSINESS

      A.  Montessori  Peace School

The petitioners are seeking a Special Use to locate a private middle school in the R-1 District at 1118 Robert Parker Coffin Road.  This matter was first before the Plan

Commission on February 5, 2002.  The petitioners have amended their petition and

request your further review.

B.          Prairie Trails of Long Grove Planned Unit Development

          Valenti Development Corporation is seeking a recommendation for final approval of

          a 62- lot development, having private roads, connection to the Lake County Public

          Works sanitary sewer system, and zoned R-2.

C.          Lake Cook Road and Route 53 Sub-Area Plan

          It is requested that the Plan Commission consider whether revision of the land uses

          for this sub-area as presently contemplated by the Comprehensive Plan warrant

           revision.  It is suggested that the acceptable land uses be determined and that

           absolute minimum requirements be set for any acceptable commercial use.

D.          Rubin / Hill

          This item has been continued from June 18, 2002.  The petitioners are seeking

          acceptance of their site configuration, including building pad location.
