VILLAGE OF LONG GROVE PLAN COMMISSION

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2003  AT 8:00 P.M.

 

Village Hall, 3110 RFD, Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, Illinois

 

1.      Call to Order.

 

2.      Approval of the January 7, 2003 Meeting Minutes.

 

3.      Public Hearing for the Consideration of a Request for a Special Use Permit, Text Amendment and And/Or Additional Relief Necessary And/Or Appropriate Under The Zoning Code To Install a Second Cellular Monopole and Related Equipment on the Christ’s Church Property, Located at 5105 Arlington Heights Road, Submitted by Voice Stream Wireless.  Public Hearing date of February 4, 2003 set during the December 3, 2002 meeting.

 

4.      Continued Bulk Regulations ReviewAmendment of Title 5, Chapter 15, of the Long Grove Village Code is proposed.  The current regulations focus on floor area as a control to limit bulk.  The proposed revisions use volumetric measurements as a means to limit bulk.  A Public Hearing on this matter was held on July 2, 2002.  During the January 4, 2003 meeting the Plan Commission reviewed proposed changes and requested that a new public hearing be scheduled for March 4, 2003 due to the amount of time since the July 2, 2002 public hearing date.

 

5.      Continued Driveway Plans and Specifications Review.  The Village Board requested that the Plan Commission review Section 7-1-1-5 of the Village Code to determine if any revision or clarification of the language is needed, especially with respect to the width of the driveway at the point where it meets the road.  During the January 4, 2003 meeting the Plan Commission reviewed the proposed changes and requested that a public hearing be scheduled for March 4, 2003.
