NOTICE REGARDING INTERESTED PARTIES REGISTRY

FOR PROPOSED TIF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA

 

            PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Village of Long Grove is considering the establishment of a Tax Increment Financing District pursuant to the Illinois Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act ("TIF Act") over the downtown area of the Village, defined in the Long Grove Comprehensive Plan as the "B1 Area," as well as property located on the east side of Illinois Route 83, defined in the Long Grove Comprehensive Plan as being part of the "B1-A Area" of the Village (collectively, "Redevelopment Project Area") in order to induce the redevelopment of the Redevelopment Project Area. 

 

In accordance with Section 11-74.4-4.2 of the TIF Act, the Village Board of Trustees adopted a "Ordinance Authorizing the Establishment of a Tax Increment Financing Interested Parties Registry and Adopting Registration Rules for the Registry."  A copy of the Registration Rules for the Interested Party Registry and an Interested Party Registration Form are on file with the Village Clerk at the Long Grove Village Hall, 3110 Old McHenry Road, Long Grove, Illinois, 60047.   Persons interested in registering with the Village as an interested party in order to receive information regarding the proposed designation of the Redevelopment Project Area and/or approval of a redevelopment plan may register at Village Hall during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 p.m.
